Welcome to Solenari Care. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thesolenaricare.site (the "Store") and any purchase of digital ebooks from us. By accessing the Store or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who we are

Solenari Care is a digital publisher of ebooks on grief, loss, caregiving, and emotional wellness. We are based in the United States. Throughout these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Solenari Care. "You" refers to the visitor or customer.

2. Products

All products sold on the Store are digital ebooks delivered as PDF (and EPUB where indicated). They are not physical books. They are not medical or therapeutic services. They are not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical care.

Each product description on the Store provides:

  • The exact title and topic of the ebook
  • The file format you will receive
  • The approximate page count or content scope
  • Any bonus material included
  • The price

You are responsible for reading the product description carefully before purchase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from the Store. By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that the payment method you use belongs to you or you are authorized to use it.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are displayed in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We use Shopify Payments (and other payment processors where applicable) to process transactions. We do not store full payment card numbers.

5. Order and delivery

When your payment is approved, you receive a download link by email within minutes. Your order is marked fulfilled at that moment. For full delivery details, see our Shipping Policy.

6. Refunds, returns, and chargebacks

Refund requests are only accepted within 7 days of purchase and only when the file was corrupted, undelivered, or materially different from the product description. No refunds are issued after the 7-day window for any reason. Chargebacks filed after the 7-day window without first contacting us are considered fraudulent disputes. 7. License granted to you

When you buy an ebook from us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal-use license to read, store, and print the file for your own personal use. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the ebook
  • Upload it to file-sharing networks, public websites, or "free ebook" sites
  • Use it as a "freebie" or bonus on another product without our written permission
  • Translate, modify, or create derivative works for distribution
  • Strip DRM or watermarks (where applied)

You may share short, attributed quotes with proper credit. You may forward a single purchased file to one close family member who would directly benefit (this is a courtesy permission — not a license to redistribute).

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Store — text, images, ebooks, branding, design, and code — is owned by Solenari Care or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

9. Acceptable use of the Store

You agree not to:

  • Use the Store for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Store or another customer's account
  • Use automated tools to crawl, scrape, or harvest content
  • Submit false or fraudulent information at checkout
  • Interfere with the Store's operation or other customers' use

10. Content disclaimer

Our ebooks discuss topics including grief, loss, caregiving, and emotional wellbeing. We write as people who have lived through loss, not as licensed therapists. The content is for educational and supportive purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, in danger, or experiencing severe symptoms, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solenari Care, its affiliates, and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, data, or emotional distress, arising from your use of the Store or our ebooks. Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Solenari Care harmless from any claim arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Store, or your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a purchase will be resolved in the courts of San Ramon, California, or, at our option, by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. We will not retroactively change the terms of a completed purchase. Continued use of the Store after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
